Default Freeing seized pistons

one of my customers gave me a tip for freeing off seized pistons. he uses coke or pepsi. just pore on top off piston and leave it.

All the pistons i have ever freed diesel ,coke and wd 40 has never done anything untill you move it a little and break the rust ring .i think the only way is move it a littel and then put diesel in .

I wonder if the vinegar thing works without moving it?

i saw a good one once on tv,s Salvage Squad,Boil oil then pour it into the bore!Apparantly thats an old R.A.F trick?
