Default Apple day

Every year the apple is celebrated by events all over the UK and they are generally called Apple Days, our local event is held at Bromham Mill in Bromham village, the mill is a restored water mill which sits on the river Ouse and has been restored by and is owned by Bedford Borough Council, the event is organised by the Council and for the last twenty years I've been asked to put on a display of engines.
I pull together a few friends and we just bring along something of our own.
As you can see in the first picture I'm in the photograph along with Peter and Penny Flint who brought their Conord, in the second we can see a scale model of an Amanco and a rather sweet Generator owned by Mike Reader, the next picture is Exgreeney's F type, this is then followed by the Conord and then my Lister F driving a Lister OB1 pump, then we have my Hamworthy compressor set and finally we have the photographers, Hugh Stannard, 4 in scale Fowler showman's which was also running,
The weather was excellent and there were plenty of apples to buy and drink, a good Day.

Nice photos Martin, thanks for sharing. I never did get a clanger when I attended.

Good to see you had more than just you and Peter. Peter Flint had a fair drive for a day out. Nearly as much as a Numpty I know!
Thanks
Mark

NO worse than me going to Twyford water works, I'd forgotten that I had invited him so it was a pleasure to see them both.

I like that little Bernard, we did an apple weekend as well with a few engines/tractors, much cider consumed
