Default Alco featherweight aka jap model 3

I picked up up a little alco featherweight.
I'd never really came across one before and just liked the look of it so I bought it I didn't pay a lot for it and was fairly complete.
It turned over freely but once I got it home and had a little look over it and removed the timing cover it became obvious the mag was siezed and had unfortunately stripped the teeth on the Bakelite gear that's sits inbetween the mag gear and crank gear.
It's along shot but does any have one or know of a possible solution.
Thanks in advance
Pete

Does this look like the part?

About 3" overall diameter and 1/2" wide

Hi nickh
That looks like the part I'm after.
I will double check after work but I'm pretty sure that's it!
I do have pictures of it but couldn't load them.
Thanks pete

Drop me a PM if it look right - I'm pretty sure that's what it came from.
