Before i bought my first engine i was a visitor to many steam rallies & the first thing i did was make straight to the junk stalls. The now defunct Barleylands at one time had fantastic junk stalls. I'm told a decision was made by the management to refuse junk stalls. For me that was the start of the decline. Barleylands was a shadow of its former self by the time it finished. I exhibited there for a lot of years. Money had become more important than the rally it seemed.

Seems they have come to an agreement & the show is now back on for 2018, awesome news!
