Definitely agree with that one, basically happiest at home surrounded by all my stuff - we were booked for a couple of days away in Gloucester last weekend for Helen's birthday but what with nerves setting in etc, never went!

Primarily why we built the trailers, gives us most if not all the comforts of home and carries the engines as well.

Too old for a tent, and trailer tents wouldn't give us the haulage capacity for the Rustons to be carried.

I started camping when I was a few months old due to my parents being involved in the cubs/scouting movement
Still got tents, sleeping bags etc. in the loft, but not sure if my back would cope with it these days.

Stuart.

Onslow Park rally was on Sunday and Monday but we arrived about 1800 hrs on Thursday and there were already a LOT there. We left Monday evening and stayed over at a Friend's on the way back. A lot of people were staying over on the rally field on Monday.

I like camping, but I do like a proper toilet, nothing like walking to a chemical toilet at 3 in the morning after a few beers....

Got that covered as well, you buy what you need from your local chemist and don't need to leave the tent

It involves a special bottle, they also make female ones, like what you get in hospital but plastic with lids.
