Default Stuart Turner P5

hi i own a stuart turner p5 which i need a head gasket for please also under neath the carb there is a small brass container with a fine mesh over it on the side of tis container is a small plug ,,any ideas what its for please

How many head nuts does it have?

Yes well what you can do is fit some 1/4 copper pipe to the 1/8th fitting in this drip tray and run any fuel spills elsewhere .............I have an idea that the bronze gauze was an anti fire precaution, not a bad idea if you get a leaking carb and a bilge with fuel in it.
