Default Saved from the scrappman

Hi all,

Yesterday a friend of mine phoned me and said me : an engine like you are looking for is at Guillerm scrapman.
A bottle of red wine for him of course and a new resident in my shed

It's a Lister B spec B18 imported by Faul and sons.

I hope Nick I can save more than the importer plate... Maybe the spec plate
She will certainly stay sleeping for months at the bottom of my shed with a massive amount of penetrating oil.

Cheers

Smile saved from the scrapman

I recon no working engine deserves to end its life at the hands of the scrap man. The best you can hope for is if the whole engine cannot be saved it is dismantled and used to complete other engines.

Ooops scrapman

Thanks Nick,

Mike
I'll try to do my best with the engine.
The best way should be a running engine but you're right, sometimes they are sadly used as spare parts bank.
