Have you got a better picture of the fan?

Dave Shortland from Rubery is one of the contingent from Brum who does a lot of rallying.

Well Rubery is a couple of miles away do you know if he's a forum member?, just checked the members list but he may have a different username.

I don't believe Dave is a forum member.

Stuart,

Look out for an ex ambulance with a green stripe down the side with a trailer being driven by a red head.

I would like to thank nickh for giving it a go.
Many thanks from one "The other side of the rope".

With a bit of luck, he will be at Stoke Prior this weekend or I will have to do a bit of kerb crawling round Rubery looking for an ex-ambulance

Dave is a member of the Petter Lite Pack, a group of Petter Light set owners that gather at shows.

He is not a member of this forum as Martin surmised.

I think he was at Beaulieu and goes to Welland and other big shows.

At least two of that group look on here and one of them may pop up.

I found his name on the entry list for the Gloucester show I went to a few weeks ago, then remembered a couple of engines were on show at a local park in 2015, looks like an ex-ambulance behind, wonder if this was Dave?.

As I said after the previous (first) occasion, it's not unremittingly grim but I'm not sure I'd do it 'just for fun'. As for those of you who spend a week sitting behind engines at the great dorset, I really don't know how you do it.

Ah well, here's to next year - perhaps I will take something 'better' and perhaps the sun will shine!
