If you clean carefully around the square base serial and model no's should appear.

Only number I can see is under the points that brass plate if that what you mean I can see b2 and think ma if that helps

should be a whole list of numbers along the sides below the magnet. this includes the date of manufacture I will photgraph a similar magneto this weekend.

Only thing I can see saw far is I direction arrow if I get a hour tomorrow I will see I can clean it further see if I can see anything else

Hi everyone

Thought since it was nice day I've unloaded the lister and and had couple of hours in giving it a good jet wash and partley dismantled it to see how good the bore is wich is quite good and dosent seem to be any wear and goes same for the bearings

While is was giving it a good jet wash in the sump I found a couple thin metal fragents can't find saw far were there as all the piston ring are intact only place I haven't really checked due not stripping it yet is the govener system as it is very stiff and not moving the push rods much

I am also asuming that was probably originally that it part of mixer or crusher set as been washing loads of pebbles

Hopefully have a couple of hours tomorrow and strip the govener system and hopfully there's nothing broken there I'm also suprised how much paint work is left including the arrow for directions

Its an M-L, type KP1 and original to the engine.

Hi everyone

I've had couple of hours in cleaning up a few bits and replacing the valve stem as it completely had its days

I've also managed to find searial number on the flywheel rim which is 230024
If any can help me in dating it will be much appreciated
