Default Engine organisations

hi its Dave crofts daughter again

I remember dad being in an engine club called N.W.S.E.A ( north west stationary engine association) well I think that's what it was called
I think that one was run by a Percy Gallimore can anyone remember that club ?.
im just trying to remember back this far because my first rally was 1979 when I was 10

Hi Alison,
NWSEA is still going strong and organising local shows, like the one at Astley Green Colliery earlier this year. They are also part of the group that organises the 1000 engine rally. Dad is no longer in the NWSEA and I can't recall him running it, but I'll PM you the current contact details.
