Default Mells Daffodil Day canceled

Due to the amount of rainfall on the land used for the festival it has been decided to cancel the show for 2014 but will return for 2015.
I belive the engine guys are planning a crank up at evercreech junction near Evercreech on the same monday as a alternative.

Always a shame to see rally/show cancellations. Let's hope it's not the first of many for 2014.

That's a real shame Andy, it's a very impressive engine display for a smallish show. I'd never even heard of it until we arranged to pass over a starting lamp there but had a great day.

Sorry to hear that news, thanks for the heads up. Still, wasn't able to make it this year due to a visit to I.F. so maybe next? It cant rain forever.
Evercreech Junction, that's hallowed ground. For a nutty S&D fan what could be more heaven than a gas up there! I hope they can repeat that next year too.

Evercreech junction has a trading estate thats developed next to it mainly on the old railway land. One of the wessex club members owns the estate and has offered around 4 acres for us to have a get together for easter monday. The wessex has already had a couple get togethers there before so it would be good to see you there sometime Mark.
