Ditto... it's (currently - as I write this) not possible to set the type of payment as gift... doable through the normal PayPal "send money" page; but then Peter would have no way of knowing this was a Forum donation...

Ah, the joys of PayPal

We had a software issue with the new usergroup, such that members were able to see the hidden Admin section of the Forum, which they would not normally be able to do.

Until I can find out why, I have had to return all of those users back to the registered User group.

Sorry for the glitch, it was as unexpected for me as it was for those involved.

Nothing has shown up, could you confirm that you have actually sent the money from your account or bank, please?

Also, let me have your email address so I can check it against PayPal payment advices.

when I donate can I get rid of the donate button as I feel that should be elsewhere - its distracting and in-my-face and ruins the 'feel' of the page..

Also, I prefer to not have the status of forum supporter as I like to see the status of people which appears to now be lost.

May I also suggest that you find a donations request bar to let us see how much you need and how our donations are helping you get to your target.

I agree the button is right under the "new posts" button and I don't like the "forum supporter" (especially in red).
