I think its a really god idea and could keep some of the general chit chat on here away, as it can get a bit OTT sometimes and distract from the main reason we're all here.

What use is facebook to man or beast, I only want friends that are real and not imaginary, as for twitter I have better things to do with my day.

facebooks pretty good as long as you set your data sharing up correctly, the only thing non friends can see on my profile is my picture, personal details are available to friends only, i dont even allow friends of friends.
