Default Richard Hornsby

Hello Folks. I've been thinking about my next engine will be. I have be playing around Petrol and Paraffin engines of my own, and I been playing with Oil and Gas engines at other Collections. I.E Robert Jackson, and Derek Hardwick Open days, working along side Trevor Hill, and Peter Miles, But i have never own one myself.
So in 2016 i am going to add one to my collection. So I'm looking at a Tangye, Or a Richard Hornsby, i'm more in line a Richard Hornsby, Same size as martin Paffett. 3HP.

So then the question is: Do you know off one For sale? Must be complete.

and what short of price bracket i'm i looking around.
So if you got a Richard Hornsby around 3HP, and your looking to move it on next year, Give me a call or PM. Tel: 0117 9675225.
I can travel anywhere in the UK.

Thank you for your time. Andrew.

Good luck with your hunt Andrew!

You're not the only one exploring new fuels... I'm waiting to collect a diesel

Have you seen the Tangye Type AA in Stationary Engine Magazine?

Cheers, Steve

Yeah mate have. I've been watching on ebay. ether i went with that one, and send alot of Man hours repair and find other parts, or spent a little more not much, and buy Jenny's Tangye, Which i know it's a running engine, cause i seen it running.
And then i've been reading Martin Paffitt Hornsby 3HP. (Very nice engine) so i thought i would be nice with a Curved spoke flywheel type engine. I got to mit tho, I do think like a Nice engineered engine.( The Rolls Royce of engines).

Santa never turned up with one, so Next year in 2016, i'll been hoping to add one to my collection.

Theres a Stuart Turner Diesel on ebay, and also in the back to SE mag, I know you like your Stuarts Steve. Wish you best of luck finding one.

I bought the one on eBay mate :D just need to collect it!

Curved spokes do look nice, would have to be the Tangye for me, just because the Tangye brothers were from a village just up the road from me. Good Cornish engineering...build in Birmingham....

Cheers, Steve

Bear in mind that some of the SEM ads have been in there for months and are out of date - Andrew I have sent you a PM.
