I would like to say a massive thank you to everybody that came to the show. We had an excellent display of engines and the new site layout seemed very popular.

The show was a huge success and we broke the record for number of exhibits and the number of people through the gate.

Great job Mike, huge medals to all involved.
The one and only negative was not enough food
vendors and the queues became rather long.

Other than that it was one of the best shows
we have attended and I heard only positive responses
all day.
Some brilliant exhibits both engines and tractors.

Again very well done and a big thank you to all involved.

Thumbs up Gets better every year

I've now attended all the Newby events from the start, but as usual it just gets better every year

The excellent weather this year also helped a great deal too.

Again it was just down to the perfect preparation & management over the weekend by the dedicated team that made the rally run like clockwork

Good entertainment both nights together with a well stocked reasonably priced bar too.

I've usually always brought two engines to an event over the years in case one expires for any reason, however this year I just brought my trustworthy Ruston APR which ran without fault until finally running out of petrol about 3.00pm Sunday.

Looking forward to attending the Astle Park Rally in a fortnight, but wouldn't miss this event for the world.

Thanks:

Steven

I am pleased you guys had a great weekend. Shame I could not be there, but problems with my hands meant I could not risk motorway driving, so had to miss out this year. But all was not lost. There was a steam rally in Hull, I managed to get in there and had a good weekend also. I also got given a Petter a with compressor which I have yet to pick up.
