Was that the post about the rather over zealous safety officer that spent all weekend driving around the field in a smart car?

It sure was, the pillock in the smart car with a serious attitude towards the exhibitors. Surely if every exhibitor that he upset had the same idea as me didn't turn up I'd guess there would be a lot less engines than last year.

You seem to have a problem with a lot that goes on here, instead of complaining, try posting your own threads instead of criticising others.

If your post was removed, it was done for good reason, we have a fairly relaxed attitude on here to most things, but we will take action if we feel a post is inappropriate in some way.

Also remember that the Admin Team are purely voluntary, they don't get paid or get any special privileges.

Taking the thread a little further off topic, I still think it's a kick in the teeth for the Anson volunteers that they can't open the museum for the usual coach trips that are very popular and for many visitors part of the "1000 Engine" experience. The philosophy that if Geoff is away then no one can play would seem quite detrimental to the place.

it seems that people like bulldog dont like to abide by the rally organisers rules, and think they can do what they want and dont care about the safety of their fellow engine men or the paying public,

Hi Dazzla
there are many reasons that the decision has been taken.

I notice you are not far from the museum. I am sure you have visited in the past but I do not recall meeting you, my apologies if we have met. You are welcome to come to the museum and have a brew and a chat. Give me a call to arrange a convenient time 01625 874426.
