Default Nutley Windmill ( Sussex)

The SKWSEG are holding an Engine Display/Crank up this Sunday ( 24th)
at Nutley Windmill near Crowborough Sussex.

Entry Free , the Windmill will be open for Guided Tours

Up to 20 engines are expected .

All visitors are welcome .

The windmill is well worth a look, the oldest parts dating from the 1500ís.

It doesnít seem like a year since we were there last..

We have a twice yearly event at a local windmill (a report by Barry in this months SEM actually) and it is surprising the amount of interest the engines recieve from the public in general. Only drawback is that windmills are usually on hilltops and closer to whatever weather arrives on the day!!

Shame it didn't coincide with mills on the air weekend, would have made it more interesting.

It was - but a bit too hot ( even if it was in the "cool" south )

No Bernardís yet, I have been keeping an eye out.

A couple of old horse drawn ploughs in the barn though.
