Default Forum 'DONATE'; Button

There is a button at the top of the page linked to PayPal for the purpose of allowing members to donate to the Forum running costs.

I have requested a PayPal account for the Forum, but it seems to be a bit more involved as the Forum doesn't have a bank account etc etc, so for now it is linked to my PayPal account.

The minimum is 1.

Please tag your username onto the payment.

Cool Donation

Hi Peter

I have just hit the Donation button and sent you a fiver, but couldn't see how to send it as a gift so if you don't get the whole fiver let me know whats missing and I will try and send some more.

I have managed to send payments as a gift in the past, but this has only worked from my account sent straight to another account but not via a website link.

Cheers, Gerry.

OK, thanks for the donation, I'll go back to PayPal and see if that can be corrected.

I need it sending through the Donate button so I have a tag on each payment to show it is for the Forum.

Wyn:

Nothing has shown up, could you confirm that you have actually sent the money from your account or bank, please?

Also, let me have your email address so I can check it against PayPal payment advices.

when I donate can I get rid of the donate button as I feel that should be elsewhere - its distracting and in-my-face and ruins the 'feel' of the page..

Also, I prefer to not have the status of forum supporter as I like to see the status of people which appears to now be lost.

May I also suggest that you find a donations request bar to let us see how much you need and how our donations are helping you get to your target.
