Default Bernard marine engine

Hi to all,

Found this week at the scrapman,

image.jpg

No plate on, I think she's a w110 5hp.
It lacks 2/3 parts but seems be in good condition.
Maybe I'll try to run her next week.

Nice sunday

Pascal

Could be a 112?

Difficult to judge without more pictures.

Hi all,

many thanks Nick

Peter, I'll take others photo this week but a TMA member also thinks she's a 110.

How lucky I am, members of the forum TMA helped me in the identification of this engine.
What a surprise!!!
Peter you completely could be able to be right because in the past the engine used was a W112.

Bonjour

TR : (It is not a boat engine but a crane engine.)

TR : (On your link, we can read: this crane was built in 1882 (carried date) to Anzin (North) by the Limited company of the Establishments of Quillacq. Forgotten in the text of the project of Saint Claude's station, approved by the Secretary of the Public works on May 28th, 1886, she appears however on diverse plans, in 1886, on 1889, etc. She was modified in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century by the addition of a gasoline engine Bernard of the type W 112 (who the production began in 1951), provided with a reverser of the Naval and optical Mechanical company of Precision (MNOP))
