Nice engine Dan - I did give it a good looking at when it came up for sale, but I do have one - not quite as nice! (to say the least!!!)

If anybody can lay their hands on a 3IP flywheel (straight spoke), or a suitable alternative, then I would be very interested...

Thank you for the thought, but far too small. The 3IP flywheel is 30" diameter, with a 3.3/4" face and a 1.1/2" bore.

I've had a reply from Ray Hooley, he has confirmed that mine is indeed a Stockport built engine sold by Ruston & Hornsby but with a Hornsby series engine number, hence the missing digit. He didn't give any details of who it was sold to or when though.
