I know someone who has a 3 year old, and is building her first car, hopefully to be ready for when she passes her driving test.............

I only have myself to blame for the shear number of projects I have to handle (and that isn't just engine projects, folks), but in the case of this project, I'm pleased its taken as long as it has, as plans have evolved as time has gone on, and rather than build it in 6 months and then spend the next 2 years thinking "I wish I'd done this/that...." (because even the best plans can still be improved on), I've changed bits and bobs on it, and ended up with an arrangement I'm really quite happy with.
