Default Any history?

When I bought my lister cs the guy who sold it informed that someone out there has information which gives an accurate time of manufacture and it's destination/first owner after leaving the factory, from what I can work out using the first and last model numbers of each year mine seems to be late (dec) 1946
the serial number is CS56022, spec 5.1.35 it also carries a workshop plate on the cylinder stating a ten thou rebore
If anyone knows of this person with the records showing destination/first owner I would be very grateful for the info

Hi Robert and welcome to the forum, good to have another member from West Wales. You've presumably looked at Lister diesel's engine dating pages, for more details of original sale destination you will need to contact Doreen Edgington. Her details I believe are given in answer to a similar request listed in the Engine Dating thread section.

A lot of the CS records were lost in the big fire at the factory.
