Default Ruston BPR

Hi All,

As promised, you will find hereunder the Ruston BPR restoration.

To begin, just 2 photos of the engine when I bought it in May

Then, by mid of August we have decided to begin the restoration, so after dismanting the engine, most of part have been sanded, cleaned, and after epoxy primer and paints.

Here is the BPR today, some parts are missing :
- oiler (not easy to find one)
- fuel tank ( I asked Frank, I'm waiting for his answer)
- head cylinder gasket (I will ask to my friend John so no prob)
- trolley (I've ordered the Ruston specification book to Ray, so waiting)

Magneto "secondary winding" is cut, so I will have to send it to make a new one

P.S : A Bernard D1 has been sanded same day, I will present it in an other subject

Bye

Don't forget that now you have dismantled the magneto magnets without "keepers" they are going to need to be remagnetised.
