I was definitely a Rocker I was once given a Scooter, but once I'd fixed it my Dad "borrowed" it to go to work on until I sold it to fund another bike.

I learnt to ride a bike when I was 8 on my cousins farm and have now been riding for 50 years, still commute to work on one, even through the winter!.

Think this was about 1978...

You're obviously Rocker material Stuart. I've had bikes all my life. Still got two. I started with a D1 Bantam when i was 13. Lost count of how many Bsa's, Ariel's, AJS's Royal Enfield(Model G bought from a mate for 6 shillings) Vincent Meteor, Yamaha,Suzukis, Honda's. Wish i'd kept them all.

I mainly use the bike (Suzuki DL650) for afternoon shifts due to traffic and parking problems. Oddly enough it's 7 miles to work on the bike, but 10 miles in the car!, the entrance to my allocated car park has height barriers and my car's too tall so I have to drive to an entrance on the other side of the site then over a mile on internal roads to get back to the car park.
