Default Why Oh Why????

Last week I posted on Facebook asking if anyone had a suitable crank gear for the Mutt and I got a reply offering me another rough engine.......... I have neither room nor use for it so how could I resist it!

It is an electric start 2 YWA... hardly the most desirable of engines..it is complete but partially dismantled and the FIE is in a truly awful state. It does at least turn freely.....too freely as there is naff all compresson..
Oh and the best bit is that it's rated 25hp at 2000 rpm....It does have variable speed gear fitted though so that it a bit academic TBH.. it would make a perfect engine to annoy the air cooled haters at rallies though.

I never learn do I.

Dan.

If its an ugly broken and heavy Diesel I just can't resist it! At least its being air cooled means that there isn't any frost damage.

We'll see. To be honest, I really doubt that I would get away with it....

Time to earn some brownie points doing the washing up after Christmas dinner?

I like your way of thinking Dan.
Without idiots like us, not a lot would be "saved". From experience I can tell you that the next step will be finding a bigger space.
(We need more room, build an extension,......)
