Default Little Casterton, this weekend ?????

Gentlemen,

Anybody going to Little Casterton this weekend, assuming it is this weekend, opening time and address please. I'm hoping to take a neighbour friend and he will be disappointed if we dont go.

I thought you'd be going to the sale at Thirsk and reporting the results for SEM.

I had already commited to exhibit at Casterton and seen as its an invite only event, I don't want to let them down.

Theres some nice engines at the sale, but sadly I don't have the space or the funds that I think will be needed to buy one of the ones I want.

Are you going?

No, Mike, sadly not. Like you I've bought a few keepers in the last couple of months and funds are low. The 3hp IP would be my choice if I was going.

Haven't heard from Barry for a couple of years, we did three shows then nothing, so assume he has enough to keep him occupied.

We haven't heard from him since we were there with you Peter, a few years ago now. Maybe we weren't quite what he expected? It is a good event though, plenty to see. Anne enjoyed it for that reason, she could see most of what was going on instead of looking at my engine all weekend!

Pete.

Barry changes the exhibits round every few years. We went several years ago (ISTR you were there as was Peter with the 2 Rustons). After that we didn't go back until Barry invited us again last year. I think he likes to keep the display fresh.

Yet, a certain few seem to roll up every year regardless.
