Just had an email from Mac MacGowan, he has found a heat shield that he thinks is for the Petter, got to pop over and collect it.

Champion, it'll make a huge difference Peter.

Did you see the 12hp on eBay? something of a bargain on the face of it. I think location might have been a contributor though.

Paul.

Yes, it went quite cheaply, but it is the end of the season and not many people in the market.

Location isn't that much of a deterrent for the right engine, in my view anyway.

Just picked up the 18/21hp ready to go to the weighbridge after Dan has picked his Crossley up.

For a restoration project as that one no doubt is, I think this time of year is the perfect time for it. that will be someones winter project I'm sure. How many winters it needs however is anyone's guess.

Picture of the beast outside the factory.

That elbow that is in the galvanised tank up front is actually a cast item, not fabricated.

Seven straps holding it down...

Just back from the weighbridge, 1427kg on the trolley.

Not as heavy as figures suggested.

2040kg on the trailer, that goes 613kg so 1427kg is the balance, 28cwt.

Pleased with that, makes it much easier to sort out a trailer, maybe even uprate the new four-wheeler to 3500kg.
