Default A crank

First of thank you all that have tried to help with my crank. Ive spent quite a lot of time cleaning the one I have and going to use this one. Now more help please! The conrod has a pin to stop the big end bearing from rotating how is this held in?i have metal and can make one but the hole is only 4 or 5 mm deep with no threads visible. Thanks Arthur
