Default Raf blue paint codes

Hi all does anyone know the code for raf blue paint . I belive it was also called air ministry blue. As I have a trolley acc gen set to paint and it was blue under the green that had been sprayed over everything.

I got some aerosol paint from elsewhere on Ebay and the code was:- BS381-633

No idea about the paint colour code, but the Royal Navy had or have a grease the same colour which they called "Crab fat". Because the similarity in colour the 'matelots' call the R.A.F. chaps Crabfats.

Wasn't it a similar colour cream for crabs/lice?

Current Crabfat Comms Tech.....

Is it the pale blue used on RAF ground equipment or the RAF Blue Grey used on vehicles you are after?

I have a ex RAF Lister A and, the colour code is BS633 RAF Blue/Grey, the colour can be purchased from Smith and Allan who are based in Darlington I believe, they are on ebay under coach paints, hope this helps, Rob
