Default Fairbanks Morse colour??

Evening all,
I have an impending arrival in the shape of a Farebanks morse 1-1/2 hp headless, it's in a funny shade of green and that has to go, so i am asking what's the correct colour for one of these little guys and can anybody tell me where to go to date and trace its history ala DWE type of thing! ( not actually got the number yet)
many thanks, Karl.

There are lots of FM dating charts on the web; HERE for example...

The colour has been called "dark hunter green"; may possibly be Dupont B8896. It's actually a revolting colour, similar to Crossley's green, and too light to my eye. Many people who redecorate FMs use a darker green.

That site suddenly popped up three 'out of date Java' notices on my PC, be careful!
