I haven't had them cast yet, but i tried a similar approach a few months back using some of the resin based printers in work, surface finish looks good, i reckon they should be fine. These were based off a broken plate taken from the engine in one instance, and the rest from rough photographs.

They're very good Kev. Based on my past experience, they will cast just fine.
