We are only doing it to be able to carry the big Petter 18/21hp, it was originally going to carry the 6AP Ruston or a combination of smaller stuff like the H1Y Stuart diesel, but plans often go adrift as we all know!

None of our three big engines were a planned purchase, all were more or less 'out of the blue' and probably better for it

The only trouble I had with ours was when there was a power failure, the magnet let go and it did a few revolutions around the now stationary drill bit, there wasn't a lot of room on top of a platten to get out of the way
