Default C.Winn pillar drill

I've just bought a somewhat large pillar drill made by C.WINN & Co of Birmingham. Does anyone know anything about the firm? It's listed in Graces guide but that's about all.

I think it's unusual in that it has a big horizontal flywheel on top and does not have a modern chuck but the drills are clamped in. Thought it would look good to run it off one of my engines if I can gear it down enough.
