Default JAP 3 Stuck flywheel removal

I've got a well seized JAP 3, there are no puller screw holes around the boss of the flywheel, if I lever the flywheel around the edge it looks like the steel boss will separate from the sot metal the flywheel is made of.

Am I missing anything? All thoughts welcome.

I think that they are on a taper, try replacing the nut so that it is flush with the end of the crankshaft threads and give the nut a sharp clout with a hammer while levering the flywheel. This should 'shock' it off.

Pete.

Thanks for the idea Pete, I'll give it a go when I'm back at the yard this weekend.
