My Dad had a tool cupboard, it was almost two foot square!
He kept in it some bed spanners ,and a wonky square
a king dick universal, was his pride and joy,
metrics or whit worth ,he knew it would employ!

some funny handled screwdrivers, engineers did discard
no pozi drives , only straight slots, and he measured by the yard!
an electric drill was beyond him, coal gas off the meter!
you could not plug a grinder, into a coal gas heater!

times have changed ,and dad has gone, ten fold are my toys
but i have two children, just like me, and both of them are boys!
Dad could not imagine ,the way life is today!
one day it will be the same for us, every dog has its day!

Thumbs up

I'm just the nice guy in the street, anything needs fixing, they bring it to me.
The latest thing is School homework/projects, ended up making a Monkey (Yes, monkey in a tree ) another one was things from Australia, I made a Boomerang, good old chicken wire and papermache.
This is all from stuff lying around in the garage and the odd bit of welding.
