Default Lister D type Crank-Up @ Ashen plains, Dursley

Evening all.

After the success of the Lister D type 90th birthday event held last year, I have decided to hold a no frills D type crank up just for D types again at the same venue. There will be no entry forms, ropes or public. Just the owners and their engines to have a friendly crank up once more at Ashen plains.

The date for the event will be April 15th 2018 but all welcome to arrive earlier if you want to make a weekend of it and camp for a night or two. contact Ashen plains if you intend camping to book, otherwise please feel free to turn up on the day and have fun, there will be a hot food bar serving the usual full English etc and a bar.

I will need an idea of numbers so we can cater accordingly, so please indicate under this post if you intend coming. You could if you do facebook, join the Lister D type group and see regular updates there by clicking this link

If the birthday bash was anything to go by then this crank up should be a friendly get together once more and was enjoyed by all. See you there. Thanks

Do I have to bring my D type to get in?, unfortunately for me that particular Sunday drops on the worst day in my shift pattern so I could only stay until early afternoon, but I would like to meet fellow D type owners and look at the engines, so would like to attend as a "pedestrian"

Stuart.
