Before i bought my first engine i was a visitor to many steam rallies & the first thing i did was make straight to the junk stalls. The now defunct Barleylands at one time had fantastic junk stalls. I'm told a decision was made by the management to refuse junk stalls. For me that was the start of the decline. Barleylands was a shadow of its former self by the time it finished. I exhibited there for a lot of years. Money had become more important than the rally it seemed.

Simon or Barry,

Exgreeney and myself are thinking of sending in a Exhibitors form but we need to know what the camping is like or is it behind the engines, the reason I ask is that I tow the Engines and Exgreeney tows our folding Caravan which means two cars, one Trailer and a 10-12 feet cube which is the erected caravan so we take a lot of space.

Martin

They offered both last year, park behind for most then a pen with camping away for others so whatever is best for your set up.

The Notts group had their own pen with camping away too.

It's not a massive site so camping won't be a far a Dorset!

Give Dave a call he's a top bloke.
