Default Hello from Lowestoft, Suffolk

Hello My name is Shaun, My main interest is Land Rovers and I am currently restoring a 1949 Series 1, however, I also have a love of stationary engines, I was lucky enough to purchase locally a Ruston Hornsby 4.5 HP PB9 last week and I hope to spend the winter months restoring it in between working on my Land Rover, having checked the oil, fuel water and carb I was able to fire it up over the weekend and the music it produced was sweet having been stood idle for over three years, as a newbie to the stationary engines scene I look forward to hearing from owners/experts with similar engines.

Welcome to the forum, Shaun, plenty of help on here, and plenty of Landie owners too!

Welcome to another Suffolk boy. Plenty of help on here for the Ruston.

Why not pop down the A143 in October to my Crank up?

Welcome to the asylum Shaun, if you can find the time, pop down for Robs crank up, was very good last year, lots to see in a nice relaxed, (but safe) setting.

Neil.
