I went back to see the Podiatrist this afternoon for a check up on my right foot, I'm pleased to say that Charcot Foot has not returned so no Aircast for another eight months, its likely to be either the hospital supplied footware I have to wear, I'm wearing them out quickly, or Plantar Fasciitis which is a condition found in middle age and anybody can have, I now have to wear my newest shoes for two weeks to eliminate the shoes and return for another check up appointment.

Martin,

Thanks, my Podiatrist did say that it is a major problem with the military particularly with the Army.

The biggest problem with the army is nobody gets out before they start to develope life changing health problems.

True enough, I work with a guy who spent 6 years in REME, his knees are wrecked due to the weight of kit they had to carry.

My quick passing must have not left enough of an impression on you to get a mention then.

Glad you got it running in the end not the greatest surface to lay on fixing an engine!

Was a good show but seemed down on the last time I visited in all areas but that was 2005,

Simon,

Sorry, I forgot about you and your family, I hope you all had a good holiday.
The pump got better and better as the week passed and it will now get a proper service.

No worries, Martin, glad it all went well in the end.

Holiday was good, got a bit wet towards the end though!
