Default What price might I get for a...

If this is in the wrong section please can the Mods move it! Had a good look for the right section but still unsure!

I am tempted to buy a Lister CS 3hp diesel which comes with a cast iron base, radiator and has a large looking generator. None of which I need for my project.

I am wondering what kind of price I might get if I were to sell these parts. The bundle is quite expensive and looking to recoup costs.

Thanks

Thomas

I learned a valuable lesson years ago. Don't buy something You don't need!! Furthermore it would be sacrilege to break up what sounds like a genuine genset just for the engine.. If You only want a CS, then just buy a CS. Purely my personal opinion, of course!! Others will probably disagree!!

I have a CS which isn't outrageously priced, will need restoring but I'm pretty sure it is frost-free and complete.

Problem is I can't drive so needs to be delivered to me in Hemel Hempstead which cuts down on what I can buy. :/

As that set stands you would ge more for it as a complete unit than by splitting it into its component parts. Just look for an engine alone and have it shipped by Speedshift or one of the many other pallet distribution companies.
