Default Lister B winch

Hi all, my Christmas present came early yesterday, well it had to being as i was needed to pick it up!
Anyway it's a Lister B & winch setup. this morning i semi stripped it to see what would be needed parts wise, one being a strap to the body fuel tank, anyone got a spare?? the other thing it had was all the teeth on the cog for the fuel pump had stripped No wonder the valves weren't moving when turning the engine over ! the rest of the engine will be straight forward.
On the winch, the shaft that would be chain driven by the engine and to which the cable drum would press against for engaging drive, is missing. Now i can probably do something about this, i am asking; does anyone have pictures or even drawings of this and its bearings ??
Thanks Chaps !
Best wishes, Karl.

If it's engine no 251358 it used to be mine. My father swapped some dumpers for some old plant including this but it came to us missing the drive shaft. The bearing tops were there and were just square plates with a stauffer greaser in the middle. We sold it at auction in 2004 and I deliberately cable tied the bearing tops to the bearing housings with the very thick cable ties so it's a shame they are missing. The teeth were on there at the time but I think the valves were stuck so someone has forced it.

I had written to David Edgington about it and think it was around 1940 and an ACE winch . The control wire on the lever arm was very long so guess it was used for a hoist on building sites. It was on ebay a while ago but I assume the sale fell through.

That the one ! Thanks for the info , most interesting. The tops are present. I have found them in the engine hopper.
It sounds as if it is pretty much the same condition as youlast saw it. Barring the teeth on the one sprocket. Luckily i have a spare. Yes it was on eBay but it did not sell. I rang the seller and a deal was struck! Glad i did because Doreen has come back with a date of 2 -9-1940. Yo Kingerlec of Oxford. They were an earlier version of Kingerlee who are construction engineers. Still trading today and for a while back in the 80s i used to work for them !
