Default Sunderland Rally Cancelled

Presumably a difficult last minute decision to cancel this event on the opening day (today) due to ground conditions but it looks as if it was out of their hands, were any forum lads on site with engines?

Default Sunderland

Hi Peter, I was there from 8.30 am Friday waiting at the gat to be told gates don't open till 12, then at 12.30 were told Sunderland council were popping out to view site because of all the rain and snow we were having, then at 4.45 were told that council had cancelled the rally because of the weather, a lot of disappointed people.

yes I was there peter we were not aloud on site they parked us up on the road side. it was a joke we were to be told at 2pm if it was on or off then 3pm then 330pm it was 430pm before we were told. the ground was a bit wet BUT I have been on a lot of fields in a worse state. it made a lot of people not very happy. and saying that they might not go back next year. IT WAS JUST A JOKE.
