My eldest son is a Depuy Head at a primary school, local to me. He might be interested in this thread as he always complains that the hobbies that generally get shown are "boring" and "normal"..

Tony,
Do it!
If you have an engine to take, take it. If you don't, put a request on here for somebody local to see if they would go along with you.
I or should I say "we" enjoyed it immensely.
Alexander will move up to juniors next September, so won't be able to do it again.

I would as I have a 6PB and a Stuart pump, plus I am finishing my "Bracket" pump and I should soon take delivery of a fully running and sorted Hesford that looks to be based on a Bulldog.

Do you go to the Clwyd Veteran and Vintage meetings at Llay Andy ?... I was thinking about popping in to one of their meetings on the way back from Jim's. (Ei's Brother) at Cefn Mawr sometime.

Alan.

An engine that was actually running would be good. I say that because a lot of the questions were around the subject of 'what were the engines actually used for'.
