Would actually be the right direct for me, but it's isn't going to self prime when above water level so no good for me...

I would without doubt ease them a little, if only to get back to the .002" end float, as it can't be right having the crank end float set...

Although a gasket added where one shouldnít be wonít tighten the crank up, just give more end float.
