Two of our club members were (maybe still are?) regulars at the 1000, they book disabled as both are (one can hardly stand let alone walk) and when they arrived at last years rally on the thursday...

That's a blow Dale. I think the signed alternative route is via Ilkley/Otley but we are planning on going a different route to avoid Harrogate that a local lad told us is fine for a van and trailer...
