The adverts in the classic bike magazines seems to bear me out, with some Italian bikes even more rare.

Most Japanese stuff suffers from corrosion, Italian from electrics and English from oil...

Probably true, Neil, but loads of them still running and repairable, while the Japanese stuff has faded away.

Bit like Land Rovers, always repairable.
