Is it impulse mag ? If so make a starting handle and a simple upward crank should be all it needs . Oh and balls of steel if it kicks . retard it a little to help

The ones in my hand were connected to a joiner terminal from the engine if that is what your asking ? So one would have come from the stator exciter yes.
