Had another look at this my Norman today, cleaned...

Had another look at this my Norman today, cleaned the carb out and turned it over, we have spark... but not a lot. Tried a reading... nothing.
Took it apart and the slip ring has had it, I can't...

Don't know Nick, only things I can think is not enough load and or it's a cooler plug than I normally use.

Apart from that I'm at a bit of a loss, the fuel it's using just trying to start it is...

Well a day of failures, Scott wouldn't run for more than 20 mins before it flooded itself, adjusting the carb just made it stop.... It is a different plug than I normally use, can't remember how that...

Well that doesn't bode well.... Set it up and added what fuel I had left, just under 750ml. After a bit of faff starting it hurt through it in 15 mins running my pump...
I was restraining it a bit...

No springs, though just out doubt through my head....

Those pumps won't really work until 1000rpm, running my R3 about 650rpm it barely pumped at all.

Handy if you have them that size, sadly I don't have 3/4 bsp tap and wouldn't really have a need after, can't see me doing many more pumps/engines in the future.....he says..... Not got the time for...

In normally got a decent stock of nuts and bolts in UNC and Metric but didn't have any long enough for what I wanted. We mainly have small stuff in work and C Stores are not what they used to be.....

Picked up some bolts from good ol' Warriors...

Picked up some bolts from good ol' Warriors Warehouse in Tuckingmill. Pack of 4 were about 4 from B&Q, 4 loose M10 and 6 Loose M8 were 1.66 from Warriors.... got to remember to make the extra bit...
