Have you any more info? Are they available from somewhere? Is it a kit you have built?

Thanks,

Not sold on the looks, but I cannot deny it runs very well, so top marks on the work so far :righton:

Here you go https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-4-Str...UAAOSwTM5Yu~FK I've looked at some of the hot air engines from over there but never actually bought one.

Thanks Nick. I've bought a few Stirling engines over the years from Ebay China. Pays to shop around as prices vary widely, and often worth buying via the US to gain on exchange rates.

What a coincidence, I'd just followed the link when mrs. Robo came in, saw what I was looking at and accused me of being on her Ebay account!, apparently she had been looking at one as a Christmas present for me, took a bit of explaining and pointing out I was on my "old man's forum" as she calls it

The engine depicted on ebay is based on a design by Joe Webster.....

I hope he is credited by the kit maker.....

I started building one from scratch about two years ago, almost finished

Stuart.

So what constitutes old man status then ?
From your earlier comment on insurance I'd guess your 57 or 8 ?

Neil.
