When our friend and supplier, Bob West, closed his workshop down, we were able to assist with the disposal of his machine tools, as well
as buying a few for ourselves. Bob also gave us a large part of his bar stocks (he ran a small repetitive turning business) which comprised
about a ton or so of round, hex, square and flat bar. We took a couple of shots after we had the new stands fabricated and loaded with the bar stock.
Metal Bar Stock
The two box-section stands are buried under the metal, and the shorter pieces are in the two main racks running across the workshop at right angles to this
shot. Their ends can be seen at the top left of centre, to the right of the grey bins. The short bits are between 3ft and 8ft long, the main rack has standard
3 metre lengths.

a size comparison. The bottom two are part of the trolley metal for the Ruston 1ZHR dynamometer.
